On November 28-29, 2024, the Austrian Political Science Association (ÖGPW) held its 10th annual conference at the Central European University together with the CEU Political Science Department. Titled „𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆,“ the event gathered scholars, political figures, and students to discuss global challenges to democratic values.
The conference featured 27 panels covering topics like populism, extremism, security policy, and international relations, highlighting the critical role of political science in addressing contemporary issues.
