T he Austrian Political Science Association (ÖGPW) was founded in 1970 and is the central network for political science in Austria. With around 500 members - including students, graduates, university lecturers and experts from social science research and practice - we promote academic exchange and networking within and outside the academic world.

We support young academics, offer funding opportunities and publish the renowned Austrian Journal of Political Science (ÖZP). We also provide information on current events, job vacancies and relevant developments in the field.
